After five years in the banking industry Scott Steadman joined the Valuation Services Group at Price Waterhouse in 1996. After working for a few regional firms, Mr. Steadman relocated to Jacksonville in 2005 to start a Forensic, Litigation and Business Valuation practice for The LBA Group. Finally, after working 22 years for public accounting firms, Mr. Steadman formed Steadman Valuation and Forensic Accounting, LLC.
Mr. Steadman is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has prepared over 500 business valuations and has been named court-appointed expert for various proceedings. In addition, Mr. Steadman has been qualified numerous times as an expert witness in business valuation, fraud, forensic accounting, financial analysis and economic damages in state and/or federal court.
